My Story
I'm Chanel Nessman and here is a my story about how I came to be a teacher. I met my husband in 2004, and have three amazing children and three crazy dogs! I have spent my career in several areas that include working as a EMT in the ER for a short period and project manager in Software engineering and application development for almost 10 years. I decided to stay home as a full-time mom when we had our twins in 2015. I knew I wanted to go back to work, but the demands of a project manager no longer fit the needs of my family.

After volunteering in the classroom and becoming a substitute teacher, I decided that I wanted to further my education and pursue my Masters Degree in Education and earn my teaching credential. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. I feel like all the knowledge I have gained over the years and experiences I have had, have put me in this place today and I am grateful.
